Expenses to run a seminary vary. In order for Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary to offer the Confessing Our Hope podcast through the GPTS Mobile app it takes money. For two years, the seminary has gladly provided this free service to the listeners of the podcast. This will continue, Lord willing, into the future. However, if you have been blessed by the podcast and enjoy listening to the various media related items made available through the mobile app, please consider donating to help defray the costs associated.
The cost for providing the GPTS Mobile App is $99 a month, (that is only $3.19 a day!). If 20 listeners donate $5 per month it will go a long way to the continued functionality of this service.
If you would like to help support this particular outreach of the seminary, please donate here. When doing so, please indicate “other” and note “GPTS App” before making your payment to ensure your donation is applied to this item.
The GPTS Mobile App has been rescued! That is, the administration of Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary has decided to continue using this mobile platform. it will be brought up to date in the days ahead.

Confessing Our Hope was successfully added to Stitcher. Okay, you may be asking “What is Stitcher?”
Stitcher is your source for portable and personalized news and talk internet radio. From business to tech news, from politics to comedy, we “stitch” the content you want into personalized, always-current stations that you can easily listen to on your iPhone, Android or desktop. Each day, the latest segments stream to you automatically, without you having to manually refresh anything. Stitcher puts the world of talk radio at your fingertips anywhere, anytime, on the go.
What this means is that you can now add the podcast to a rotation of podcasts to listen as you would any audio playlist. If you enjoy numerous podcasts then this is the program you want to use for your desktop and/or mobile device (There is also a mobile app for that as well!). For example, perhaps you enjoy tech podcasts as well as news, sports and theology. You can add a series of podcasts yo your own private playlist that will play in order as you set it up. These podcasts will automatically update as new episodes are released.
Some examples of theological podcasts on Stitcher: Christ the Center, East of Eden.
Also, if you do use Stitcher to listen to various podcasts, including Confessing Our Hope, please like the Stitcher Facebook page so we can can gain exposure to the podcasting community.

As some of you may have heard by now, the GPTS Mobile app has gone live for Android and iOS. We are very excited about this app and for partnering with Subsplash Consulting to make this happen. The app is very much in its infancy and we are working to enhance it with other features that will benefit the end user. These updates can now be pushed to your phone in real-time, as they happen.
Some of the features of the app:
1. Ability to listen to the Confessing Our Hope podcast within the app itself. No need for a 3rd party app/program to handle the audio. We have it right there for you to enjoy.
2. Ability to keep up news and other information about the seminary.
3. Ability to listen to past Theology Conference lectures (covering 2010-2012).
4. Ability to listen to past chapel sermons.
Some things we have planned:
1. A video virtual tour of the campus.
2. The addition of a video section featuring sermons and other material.
