Jim Holmes, the proprietor of a new venture called Cheaper in Dozens, was our guest as we talked about his goals and desires for people to read more books.
From the website:
COMPANY AND GOALS
I am James Holmes, a publishing professional, and I have served various publishers in an editorial and sales and marketing role. I am developing this site along the following lines:
- My intention is to glorify God by providing biblically sound literature at affordable prices to people throughout the USA, encouraging them to use it as a means in evangelising unbelievers and edifying Christians.
- The items for sale have been included on the basis that they may be helpful in introducing Christ or developing Christlikeness.
- I aim to supply items which, in general, reflect the teaching of Scripture as understood and expressed in the historic Reformed creeds such as the Westminster Confession of Faith and the Westminster Catechisms.
Cheaper in Dozens aims to promote and supply biblically based resources in higher-volume quantities at affordable prices, and to encourage people to read and live transformed lives to the glory of God.
